The 26th Annual AETC® Is Just Three Weeks Away

For more than a quarter century AETC® has brought together the brightest minds in the performance industry. Seats for this year’s event are still available, but are going fast.

Aftermarket performance professionals and enthusiasts have just three weeks to make plans to attend the industry-renowned Advanced Engineering Technology ConferenceTM. Each year AETC® provides an opportunity for engine builders, design engineers, business owners, parts manufacturers, racers and media members to come together for the exchange of the latest engineering ideas. The 2015 event is slated to take place at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis on December 8-9, just prior to the PRI Trade Show. Attendees will hear presentations on topics ranging from piston design to proper cooling. They will also have the chance to spend one-on-one time with presenters, leading to personal connections and a wealth of knowledge that no other event can provide in just two days. A total of $30,000 in prizes and certificates are up for grabs over the course of the program as well.

Notable speakers include Jon Kaase of Jon Kaase Race Engines, Bill McKnight of MAHLE Clevite Inc. and Jim McFarland from E3 Spark Plugs, among a host of notable others. Motor State Distributing is this year’s title sponsor, with Performance Racing Industry serving as a partner in presenting. Once again, this year’s AETC® is slated to take place just prior to the PRI Trade Show on December 8-9 at the Indiana Convention Center. The conference brings together a wide variety of engine builders, design engineers, business owners, media members, parts manufacturers and racers. Seminars on front-line engineering topics by some of the brightest minds in the performance industry fill the two-day conference, while a variety of networking opportunities encourage the exchange of information and relationship building. Memphis, TN – The first lineup of speakers and topics for the 2014 AETC® has been announced. As always, the conference will feature a variety of esteemed experts presenting seminars on hot topics in the performance industry.

 The 25th annual Advanced Engineering Technology Conference™ is poised to be one of the most memorable editions in its two-and-a-half decade history. The foremost event of its kind, the silver anniversary version of AETC® will bring a wide variety of industry authorities together with engine builders, shop owners, design engineers, parts manufacturers, media members and more for two days of seminars and one-on-one interaction.

The speaker list is still being finalized, but it already includes some of the best-known names in the performance world. Experts on topics including ignition, engine building, tuning and much more all will host seminars on their particular areas of expertise. A total of nearly a dozen speakers are expected to take part.

New AETC® Website Debuts

To coincide with its move to Indianapolis in 2013, the Advanced Engineering Technology Conference™ has launched a newly redesigned website.

Each year AETC® brings together engine builders, racers, engineers and media members from around the world to exchange information on the day’s most popular engine-building topics. In an effort to make information about the conference even more accessible, AETC® has recently launched an updated, easy-to-navigate website. The redesigned site features an overview of the conference and a news section, as well as a continually updated list of speakers and schedule. It also includes a testimonial section where users can read about the experiences of past attendees, and a lodging tab that features hotel recommendations as the conference shifts to its new home in downtown Indianapolis. Memphis, TN – After a successful eight-year run in Orlando, the 24th Annual Advanced Engineering Technology Conference™ will move to Indianapolis in 2013 where it will precede the recently merged PRI and IMIS trade shows.

The lights may have just dimmed on this year’s edition of the Advanced Engineering Technology Conference™, but preparations are already well underway for next year’s event. Be sure to mark your calendars for December 9th – 11th, 2013, as AETC® shifts to its new home in Indianapolis, IN. A stellar lineup of speakers from around the performance aftermarket is already taking shape for this historic event. Among those confirmed to host seminars are Lee Carducci from Arrow Racing Engines,  Illusions Engine Development’s Cecil Stevens, Bill McKnight of Mahle, performance researcher and author Harold Bettes, Total Seal’s Keith Jones and Dan Jesel of Jesel Valvetrain Innovation. The three-day conference will take place at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis preceding the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show, which next year relocates to Indy after its merger with the International Motorsports Industry Show, better known as IMIS.

The newly centralized location of AETC® is sure to attract engine builders, racers, performance enthusiasts and media members from around the country.
